Bo Kaier, the individual writing this copy in the third person, shamelessly, is a User Researcher, UX people leader, digital professional, and design generalist. He is specialized in the streaming space (with a dash of E-Commerce, food, and DIY for flavor), and has spend more than a decade in the entertainment industry. His passion is integrating the voice of the user into the fast-moving product life cycle. Be that translating quantitative mysteries into qualitative sentences or simply determining what the ‘real’ question is.

At present Bo is the Director of User Research for the Consumer Digital Products group, a part of Warner Bros. Discovery covering such brands as Food Network, Magnolia, Harry Potter, HGTV, Cartoon Network, and TCM. Prior, he worked on NBC.com and the One App project, supporting ATVE and nudging fence-sitters up to Peacock.

Bo went pro in '04, starting as a front-end web developer and morphing over time in to a UX designer and then further in to a UX researcher. His core focus has been research in support of product design. He enhances this focus with the varied toolset of a generalist: he is as comfortable writing HTML/CSS code as he is interviewing a user, charting a journey, building a prototype for users to test, putting together a scathing competitive analysis, auditing and interface for 10-foot use, leading a meeting with great aplomb, liaising between departments, working agile, walking, and chewing gum. :: pauses to catch breath ::
